The private spa was easily accessible. The friendly host Anita had given a nice description before visiting that day that the entrance to the spa was in the back street called “Haagdoorn” and so not at the address Rijksweg 329 itself because then you end up at the front and that is not the entrance.

What is nice about this back alley is that it eventually turns into a dirt road and so it was a very quiet experience.

In itself, the spa is just in a usual residential neighborhood and throughout my stay I experienced overall peace and quiet both inside and outside.
Only at the front of the location there is a good busy thoroughfare but at the back where the spa is you don’t notice that at all.

Rather, this thoroughfare provides a very smooth connection.

Furthermore, there is absolutely no view from the neighbors or any windows which always provides a nice feeling of privacy.

As soon as I entered the Spa, Anita the host was already there to welcome me. She truly is an incredibly pleasant and friendly woman who is happy to explain everything there is to experience in her establishment.

You can really see that she is proud of what she does.
She will take you on a concise and clear tour of how everything works.

There was one thing that was immediately clear here, this location was extremely clean to the smallest detail.
You could see that the manager went to such lengths that everything was positioned and stood perfectly straight and the bathrobes and small towels were really perfect.
What an incredibly pleasant feeling which came back several more times as the visit went on.

The interior was well thought out and one thing that immediately stood out was the homey feeling I experienced here.
The colors matched very well and were surprisingly vibrant.
I noticed that a lot of love was put into this. The quality of the materials and fabrics also felt very durable.
Also the choice of flooring inside the spa is really incredibly convenient for maintenance.

There were nice seating areas including a sitting area with a comfortable corner sofa, a dining area and a bathroom which were centrally located and well connected to the rest of the spa area.

From equipment, the infrared cabin was a real standout. I have experienced many cabins in my spa visits but never one like this. The infrared rays are built into the lying area which provides an incredibly pleasant posture during use, also it is adjustable in heat settings.

The sauna was of very high quality with beautiful finished materials. It came with a accompanying ice bowl outside the sauna to refresh yourself or to roll ice balls with some drops of a good smelling oil to melt away in the sauna on the fire.

The steam room was also completely fine, nicely finished with mosaic tiles.

Another very nice experience was that the ceiling of the infrared cabin, the sauna as well as that of the steam room had a starry sky.
We therefore turned off the lights during our visit in this area which I can only highly recommend.

In the outdoor area there was a very nicely finished and large jacuzzi with pure and clean water.
The whole area overlooked a completely screened-in courtyard with koi pond and could be covered with what looked like electric umbrellas, which is really convenient during the really hot days.

Next to the jacuzzi there was a possibility to take a cold shower after visiting the sauna.

The toilet and bathroom were equipped with the necessary benches and coat racks to hang clothes. Otherwise it was pleasantly furnished with all the materials provided.

If there is only one thing to note about the interior, it is the mirror at the entrance covered with plastic flowers. Here we both immediately agreed that it was not really our thing. It was completely out of style. This is a personal impression I don’t want to hold you back from but it doesn’t weigh at all on the excellent experience and care of this spa.

Chosen for the package “wellness with Tapas” we were surprised with an excess of appetizers.

The tapas platter was plentiful and well composed to taste.
In addition, we received a bottle of water which is always nice since you lose a lot of moisture when sweating in the sauna.

In addition to the tapas platter, a small bowl of fresh fruit was offered included in the price.

In the sitting area, without asking, there was an extra portion of delicious cookies and chocolate stems accompanied by a bottle of cava which was included in the price.

There was also a well-stocked refrigerator where we could order extra food if this was not enough.

The website can never represent enough how homey this spa feels in real life. The reality is an exceptional experience which completely surpasses the website.
I would love to come here again.

Nothing to complain about, it was pleasantly warm.

The products for washing hands or showering were all from Rituals which all smelled nice and contributed to a relaxing moment.

What was also a first experience is that the host Anita had provided a jar of pure Menthol flakes. Those where to sprinkle on the stones of the sauna of which you only had to use a little bit, barely a third of a tea spoon.
But this provided such a pleasant experience for the airways as if you had eaten fresh mint.
It is recommended that you keep your eyes closed but she will tell you all about it during the tour.

Furthermore, plenty of bath towels and slippers were provided.

The entire spa was provided for an option of good quality music.
The music upon entry is a relaxing music list which is ideal in the background.

There is also an option to connect to your own music lists via your mobile.

You get exceptional quality for a very favorable price here. In our opinion the price could easily go up.
It was this good. Since the price is so favorable for this progressive quality in all areas I almost dare to say it is another hidden gem worth discovering.

General opinion

The hostess does everything to make sure the stay and the experience are taken care of to the last detail. On top of that you experience exceptional quality for such a favorable price.
This spa is definitely a hidden gem worth discovering.
